The maintenance and washing of the double-sided, one-piece, short-sleeve lead suits typically target the outer layer, which is usually made of three-proof, antibacterial Oxford cloth. After spraying with a neutral detergent, gently wipe clean with a soft brush; then hang the suit on a rack to air dry naturally. Avoid exposing it to direct sunlight outdoors, as this can accelerate the aging of the lead rubber and adversely affect the lifespan of the suit.
