The post-processing of sheet metal bending products mainly involves the treatment of the surface of the sheet metal, which is to coat a layer of film on the surface to protect the material from oxidation. It also enhances the adhesion of the paint finish. The processes include electroplating, electrostatic adsorption, paint baking, oxidation treatment, etc., with electrostatic adsorption primarily used for cold-rolled sheets. The sheet metal parts are basically finished after the post-processing.
Bent parts are commonly seen in mechanical processing production, such as creating V and U shapes in metals. In general cases, there are two methods for metal bending: mold bending and bending machine bending. The former is suitable for complex structures, small sizes, and large-scale production. The latter is suitable for larger structures with smaller production volumes.
