PUR Spiral Cable | PVC Spiral Cable - The PUR Spiral Cable is a straight wire cable made by twisting one or several insulated conductors. It is coiled into a spiral shape around a metal core rod, then heat-processed and shaped for 30 to 120 minutes in an oven before cooling. The cooling can be by air or water. The resulting cable is spiral and flexible (the extent depends on temperature and sheath material).
Spring Cable Production Standards:
This product is manufactured in accordance with GB1206, 3-91, and IEC60502-1997 standards.
Section 2: Application Scope:
This product is used for fixed installations on power transmission and distribution lines rated at 35kV and below.
III. Usage Features:
1. Operating Temperature: The cable conductor is set at a working temperature of 90°C.
2. Overload Temperature: The high temperature during short-term overload of the cable must not exceed 130°C.
3. Short Circuit Temperature: The temperature during a cable short circuit must not exceed 250°C (with a long-duration not to exceed 5 seconds).
4. Laying Temperature: The cable laying temperature should not be below 0°C. Preheating is required when laying below 0°C.
5. Bend Radius: Single-core cables allow for a bend radius of 20 (actual outer diameter of cable, actual diameter of conductor) ±5%.
Multi-core cables allow for bending radius: 15 (actual outer diameter of the cable / actual diameter of the cable conductors) ±5%.
