Overview and Applications
The Gravity Concentration Sludge Scraper is suitable for circular sludge concentration ponds in wastewater treatment plants. Its primary function is to scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the pond into a sludge collection pit for sludge concentration and dewatering. Depending on the need, a surface scraper mechanism can also be installed to collect floating debris on the pond surface and discharge it out of the pond through a floating debris funnel.

Model Features
The working bridge is designed with a truss structure, offering simplicity, aesthetics, and lightness.
2. Easy maintenance, low operational costs.
3. Multiple Transmission Reducer Options: For central transmission, a three-stage cycloidal reducer is directly driven, featuring simple and compact structure, easy maintenance; combined drive with reducer, transmission gears, and rotating bearings provides high driving torque, suitable for heavy-load applications. For peripheral transmission, an axle-mounted design is used, which is simple, compact, and easy to maintain; equipped with a cycloidal pinwheel reducer, offering cost-effectiveness and high transmission efficiency.
4. Electrical components are all outdoor-type, safe and reliable, featuring both random and remote control capabilities.
5. Equipment can be custom-made to the user's specific dimensions. Components in contact with water can be made of stainless steel.
Parameters and specifications
Construction and engineering process
The central drive suspended concentrator is mainly used for pond diameters less than 18m; the central drive vertical frame concentrator is mainly used for pond diameters between 18m and 30m; the semi-bridge peripheral drive concentrator is suitable for circular sludge concentrators with larger diameters but not heavy loads.
The central drive suspension type concentrate machine consists of main components such as the working bridge, drive unit, drive shaft, scraper arm and sludge plate, concentration stirring grating, cable, underwater bearing, sludge pit stirring blade, flow stabilizer tube, and electric control cabinet. According to actual conditions and customer requirements, additional accessories such as weir plates, skimming devices, slag挡渣板, and slag discharge bins can be provided.

The central drive suspended concentrator operates by a drive unit mounted on the work bridge, which rotates the drive shaft. As the shaft rotates, it drives the scraper arms on both sides to rotate around the pool's central axis. The concentration and mixing bars installed on the scraper arms move through the sludge layer, providing a path for water to escape from the sludge, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration efficiency. Simultaneously, a set of scraper blades on the scraper arms, as they rotate, scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the pool towards the central sludge collection pit. Additionally, any scum on the surface (if present) is concentrated in a constricted area formed by the scraper and surrounding guard plates, then scraped into the collection trough and removed from the pool.
The central drive vertical架式 concentration machine consists of main components such as the working bridge (usually a semi-bridge), the drive unit (typically featuring a reducer, transmission gears, and a rotating bearing assembly), the rotating vertical frame, scraper arm and mud scraper, concentration mixing bars, tension cables, mud pot mixing blades, flow stabilizing tube, and electrical control cabinet. According to actual conditions and customer requirements, additional accessories such as water weir plates, skimming devices, slag baffles, and slag discharge bins can also be provided.
The center-drive vertical frame concentration machine operates by the driving system mounted on the work bridge rotating the vertical frame beneath it. This motion initiates a clockwise movement of the scraper arms on both sides. The concentration mixing bars attached to the scraper arms move through the sludge layer, providing a pathway for water to escape, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration. Meanwhile, a set of scraper blades on the scraper arms, as they rotate, scrape the sludge settled at the bottom of the pool towards the central mud collection pit in the middle, which is then discharged through the sludge outlet pipe. Additionally, any scum on the surface (if present) is concentrated within the constricted area formed by the scraper and surrounding guard plates, scraped up by the scum rake, and discharged out of the pool.
The peripheral drive concentrator is composed of main components such as the working bridge, truss and scraper assembly, concentration mixing bars, central support, drive mechanism, collector, electrical control box, and accessories including the outflow triangular weir plate, flow stabilizer tube, slag baffle, and floating scum scraper (whether provided to be negotiated by both parties).
The work bridge is driven by the driving mechanism installed around it, rotating around the central support mounted on the central pier in the pool. The concentrated mixing bars suspended under the truss of the work bridge pass through the sludge layer, providing a passage for water to escape from the sludge, thereby enhancing the sludge concentration effect. At the same time, the inclined scraper plates below the truss collect the settled sludge at the bottom of the pool into a central sludge collection pit. The floating scum on the liquid surface is concentrated in the constricted area formed by the scum scraper and the surrounding scum guard plates, then scraped into the scum collection bin and discharged out of the pool.
Central drive overhead thickener and central drive vertical frame thickener civil construction drawings can be found in the central drive scraper section; civil construction drawings for peripheral drive thickeners are in the peripheral drive scraper section.
