Overview and Usage
The traveling scraper mud cleaner is suitable for the even-flow sedimentation tank in wastewater treatment plants. Its main function is to scrape the settled sludge at the bottom of the tank into the sludge collection channel for sludge return or concentration and dewatering, and to skim the surface scum into the collection bin (if there is any scum) and then discharge it out of the tank through the scum funnel for further processing. The operation is a combination of running and scraping.

Parameters and Specifications
Structure and Operation Process
The walking dredge scraper is composed of main components such as the working bridge, winch mechanism, scraper girder, scraper plate, drive unit, and electric control box, as well as accessories like the discharge triangle weir plate and scum scraper (whether provided to be agreed upon by both parties). The walking dredge scraper is shown in Figure 1.
The walking type scraper is supported by a four-point walking beam, spanning across the horizontal sedimentation tank. It features dual driving and both sides of the tank are laid with steel tracks (no tracks needed for engineering rubber wheels, nylon wheels, or polyurethane wheels, but four-point guide wheels must be added). The scraper runs along the pool deck tracks from one end to the other. During operation, the scraper blades scoop the sludge and sand into the mud collection channel. If equipped with a float渣 scraper, the float渣 is also scraped into the渣 bucket. On the return journey, the scraper arm truss and blade are lifted off the pool bottom by the winch mechanism, while the渣 blade is lifted off the water surface by an electric push rod, completing one cycle and returning the scraper to its starting position. The reciprocating operation is controlled by the two-end travel switches. The operation and parking time are controlled by a timer relay based on the sludge volume.
The technical specifications of the walking scraper dredger are shown in Table 1, and the civil construction conditions of the equipment are illustrated in Figure 2.
