A flap gate is a one-way valve installed at the outlet of drainage pipes along rivers and canals. When the river or canal tide level is higher than the outlet pipe opening and the pressure exceeds the pressure inside the pipe, the flap gate panel automatically closes to prevent river or canal water from reversing into the drainage pipeline. Flange pipe connections, wall connections, and pump station pipelines can be selected according to customer requirements.
Steel side-hinged gates are essential equipment for the safe operation of pump stations. Their role in the station is to prevent water from flowing back during shutdowns, and they are mainly used for: flood control and drainage, agricultural irrigation, urban water supply and drainage, inter-basin water transfer, as well as water supply and distribution for large-scale industrial enterprises.
