The Mingtong chillers come in two types: water-cooled and air-cooled. The working principle is the same: initially, the compressor吸入the low-temperature, low-pressure refrigerant gas after evaporation cooling, then compresses it into high-temperature, high-pressure gas and sends it to the condenser. The high-pressure, high-temperature gas is cooled in the condenser, condensing into a normal temperature, high-pressure liquid. As this liquid flows into the thermal expansion valve, it is throttled into low-temperature, low-pressure wet steam, which then flows into the evaporator. It absorbs the heat of the refrigerant water in the evaporator, lowering the water temperature. The refrigerant is then reabsorbed into the compressor, repeating the cooling cycle. The difference between air-cooled and water-cooled types is the heat dissipation method: air-cooled dissipates heat through finned condensers, which is then dispersed into the external air by a cooling fan. Water-cooled types require a cooling tower, transporting heat to shell-and-tube condensers, and circulating it through a pump to the cooling tower. Due to the high temperature and high pressure during compressor operation, in summer when the ambient temperature is relatively high, water-cooled types have better cooling effects, but require cooling water and an additional cooling tower. Air-cooled types are flexible for assembly and easy to install, suitable for areas with water scarcity or for mobile applications. Depending on regional environments, water quality, and production needs, we offer various models, including shell-and-tube, box-type with water tank and pump, titanium alloy, stainless steel, open type, screw type, evaporative type, split type, explosion-proof type, low-temperature type, and combined hot and cold type, all designed for different locations.
