Thermal oil furnace, during the operation of electric thermal oil, varying degrees of thermal cracking reactions occur upon heating; or, upon contact with oxygen in the air, oxidation reactions take place, which alter the structure, producing high and low molecular substances, forming low-boiling substances. The continuous increase of these low-boiling substances can change the inherent properties of the thermal oil, posing safety hazards to the heating system of the thermal oil heater.

Thermal oil furnace, electric thermal oil furnace – Low-boiling point substances produced by the cracking of thermal oil are dissolved in the oil, reducing its flash point and increasing its vapor pressure. These low-boiling point substances are materials with boiling points lower than the initial boiling point of the unused thermal oil. At the operating temperature of the system, they undergo phase changes and exist in the system as a gas, causing pressure increases and fluctuations within the system. The more low-boiling point substances produced, the higher the liquid vapor pressure within the system becomes, and the more intense the pressure fluctuations. This can lead to cavitation in the thermal oil circulation pump and deterioration of the heat transfer process, as well as the continuation of overheating and oxidation conditions during the system's circulation. This exacerbates the deterioration of the thermal oil and produces more low-boiling point substances. The presence of a large amount of low-boiling point substances also significantly lowers the flash point of the in-use thermal oil. Improper measures can lead to the risk of combustion and explosion during system operation.

Thermal oil furnace, the increase in thermal oil cracking rate of electric thermal oil furnace is an exponential relationship with the increase in the temperature it withstands; that is, if the temperature rises by 10℃, the expected cracking rate will double compared to before the temperature rise. Factors affecting the thermal cracking of a certain type of thermal oil include its chemical molecular structure, purity, operating temperature, and specific conditions in the heat exchange equipment, i.e., the distribution of temperature and the presence of impurities. In actual use, the temperature at which the thermal oil begins to crack is about 50℃ below its allowable operating temperature. The use of poor-quality thermal oil or the effects of overheating, oxidation, and contamination during use will accelerate its thermal cracking and oxidation decomposition, producing a large amount of deteriorated products, leading to rapid deterioration of the thermal oil.

Thermal oil furnace, electric thermal oil furnace - Certain measures must be taken when using thermal oil to prevent accelerated deterioration. Prior to entering the system, thermal oil should be avoided from coming into contact with water, acidic or alkaline substances, or any other material that may affect its quality. During the first system startup, dehydration and degasification are required, and the operation should be strictly conducted according to the system startup procedures. Operators must strictly follow the system operation procedures, avoid overheating, and regularly record their activities. Additionally, a sampling and analysis program for the thermal oil should be established every six months, with comprehensive analysis of the test results. If the thermal oil reaches the discard standard, it should be replaced promptly. Advantages of thermal oil furnaces, electric thermal oil furnaces:

Custom cooling systems for thermal oil can be designed according to customer requirements to meet the need for rapid temperature reduction after heating in the production process.

2.Energy-saving and low operating costs; the heat transfer oil heating system operates in a closed-loop liquid phase cycle, with an outlet and return oil temperature difference of 20-30°C, meaning only a 20-30°C temperature difference needs to be heated to reach the operating temperature. Additionally, this equipment does not require water treatment facilities and has no heat losses due to steam boiler leaks, drips, or steam escape, resulting in a high heat utilization rate. Compared to steam boilers, it saves about 50% on energy consumption.

3.Low equipment investment due to the simple design of the heat-conducting oil heating system, no need for water treatment equipment, fewer auxiliary devices, and the heat-conducting oil boiler operating at low pressure, the entire system requires less investment.

4.Due to the system only withstanding pump pressure, the heat-conducting oil heating system poses no explosion risk, making it safer.

5.The environmental protection effect of the heat-conducting oil furnace system for organic thermal carriers is mainly reflected in the low flue gas emissions, absence of wastewater pollution, and thermal pollution.
