A large bag dust collector is a dry dust removal device. After a period of use, due to effects like screening, collision, retention, diffusion, and static electricity, a layer of dust accumulates on the surface of the filter bags, which is known as the initial layer. In subsequent operations, the initial layer becomes the main filtering layer of the filter material, allowing larger-pored filter materials to achieve high filtration efficiency through the initial layer's action. As dust accumulates on the surface of the filter material, the efficiency and resistance of the dust collector increase accordingly. When the pressure difference between the two sides of the filter material is too great, some fine dust particles attached to the filter material will be squeezed through, reducing the efficiency of the dust collector. Additionally, an excessively high resistance in the dust collector can significantly decrease the airflow in the dust removal system. Therefore, it is necessary to clean the dust collector promptly once the resistance reaches a certain level. During cleaning, the initial layer must not be damaged to avoid a decrease in efficiency.
Principle of Large Bag Dust Collector Operation:
With repeated adherence of the powder to the outer surface of the filter bag, the powder layer continually thickens, increasing the resistance value of the large cloth dust collector; the diaphragm of the pulse valve issues an order, the pulse valve opens during both submersion phases, the compressed air inside the high-pressure air package is released. If there is no more dust or it's too fine, the mechanical cleaning process will cease.
Large Baghouse Dust Collector Product Structure:
The large bag dust collector is mainly composed of the upper housing, middle housing, lower housing (ash hopper), cleaning system, and ash discharge mechanism, etc.
The performance of a large bag dust collector is determined not only by the correct selection of filter bag material but also by the cleaning system, which plays a decisive role. For this reason, the cleaning method is one of the characteristics that distinguish large bag dust collectors and is a crucial aspect of their operation.
Key technical features of the large dust collector bag are as follows:
1. Utilizes sweeping valve and pressure valve technology. The sweeping valve is activated during full-bag room filtration without dust removal to clean the reverse air blowing pipeline, prevent condensation in the pipeline, and maintain a continuous open path for the reverse air blower, balancing and protecting the blower. The pressure valve addresses air leakage caused by dust removal in the filter bags, preventing bag deformation at appropriate speeds, extending the lifespan of the filter bags, and avoiding over-dusting.
2. Continuous operation with maintenance and leak detection capabilities. In the event of a fault in any compartment during operation, the compartment can be shut down (offline) for maintenance without affecting the operation of the others, ensuring the long-term stable operation of the entire production process. Each compartment is equipped with a differential pressure transmitter, enabling leak detection without stopping the equipment.
3. The shell structural steel housing features a standard modular design, with each compartment serving as an independent filter unit. It comes in two design types: standard and customer-specific. The standard type is assembled into unit boxes at the manufacturing company and then transported to the site. The customer-specific type is assembled on-site after the main components like the housing are manufactured at the company.
4. The upper part of the filter bag is directly connected to the bag cap with an elastic ring, while the lower part is secured to the bag holder with a special clamp band, making installation and replacement easy; the filter bag suspension structure uses a spring and adjustment block design, which is easy to adjust and reliable for use.
5. The reverse blower is equipped with an electrically adjustable air valve to regulate the reverse blowing air volume, allowing the volume to be adjusted according to different operating conditions.
The large bag dust collector is mainly composed of several parts: the housing, valve system, reverse air blowing system, and ash conveying system.
1. Valve System: Comprising valve seats, lift valves, reverse blow valves, pressure valves, and cleaning valves, etc. 4. Ash Disposal System: Consisting of ash bins, conveyors, and lock-gas devices, etc.
2. Shell System: Comprising of bag house, ceiling panel, filter bags and bag hangers, inspection door, etc.
3. Reverse Blowing System: Comprised of reverse blowers and reverse blowing pipes.
