Structure and Operating Principle:
The hydraulic lower-lift weir gate system primarily consists of weir gates, hydraulic systems, ultrasonic level gauges, and control systems. To facilitate later maintenance, a maintenance groove is typically provided in front and behind the weir gates.
The downstream weir gate is driven and controlled by an opening and closing hydraulic cylinder to lift or lower the gate plate. The hydraulic cylinder can be equipped with an automatic control system, allowing for unmanned automatic control of the liquid-driven downstream weir gate. Water from the upstream flows over the top of the gate plate. The gate plate can be raised or lowered as needed and can stop at any position to control the flow rate of water distribution or adjust the upstream water level. It can achieve multiple functions such as flushing, water level control, and flow control.
The ultrasonic liquid level sensor detects the water levels on both sides of the weir gate and converts them into electrical signals for the control system. The control system then drives the hydraulic cylinders on both sides of the weir gate, allowing the weir plate to slide up and down within the guide slots. The sides and bottom of the guide slots are equipped with rubber seals for sealing purposes (can be triple or quadruple sealed). The hydraulic cylinders are fitted with position sensors, enabling precise control of the weir plate's stopping position at any point. In the event of a power outage, the system can manage functions such as controlling upstream water levels, flushing, and preventing backflow.
