I. Instrument Overview
The Environmental Stress Cracking Tester is primarily used to determine the environmental stress cracking resistance of copolymers, mainly polyethylene, containing less than 50% (by mass) of 1-olefin monomers and no more than 3% (by mass) of functional non-olefin monomers under specified conditions.
Section 2: Execution Standards
Based on the test equipment recommended by GB/T1842-1999 and ASTM D1693:1997 "Test Methods for Environmental Stress Cracking of Polyethylene Plastics," a set of experimental equipment for the environmental stress cracking test of polyethylene plastics has been designed. This test equipment retains the technical requirements of the prototype and features structural innovations.
