Nitrile gloves produce a significant amount of wastewater during the disposable glove manufacturing process, but the water pollution level is relatively low, with a COD of 350mg/L and high total nitrogen. This is primarily due to the raw materials used in the production process of disposable gloves, the nitrates and acid/alkali wash wastewater, where nitrates exist in the wastewater as nitrate nitrogen, contributing to the high total nitrogen levels. In response, Guangbo Environmental Protection, leveraging our past experience in treating similar wastewater, has adopted a multi-stage A/O wastewater treatment process. After pretreatment and multi-stage A/O treatment, the effluent meets national discharge standards and then enters the multi-media filter + RO reverse osmosis process unit to achieve the requirements for wastewater reuse.
The single-membrane and double-membrane production lines for disposable glove wastewater treatment differ in their production capacity. The double-membrane line has a higher wastewater concentration when producing nitrile gloves. Therefore, the treatment process requires differentiated design.
