Thick steel plates generally have the same types as thin steel plates. In terms of categories, except for varieties such as bridge steel plates, boiler steel plates, steel plates for automotive manufacturing, steel plates for pressure vessels, and multilayer high-pressure vessel steel plates, which are purely thick plates, some steel plate varieties like automotive beam steel plates (thickness 2.5~10mm), patterned steel plates (thickness 2.5~8mm), stainless steel plates, and heat-resistant steel plates intersect with thin plates.
Additionally, there are different materials for steel plates; not all steel plates are the same. The material varies, and so does the application of the steel plates.
