Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Scrubbing Towers are waste gas purification equipment primarily made of fiberglass and plastic. They feature high purification efficiency, compact structure, small land occupation, excellent corrosion and aging resistance, lightweight, ease of installation, transportation, management, and maintenance.
The purification tower is designed reasonably. Due to the low empty tower velocity, the reaction contact time is sufficient and the resistance loss is minimal. It employs new stepped ring packing (or spherical multifaceted packing), which has a larger specific surface area and excellent gas-liquid contact exchange performance. The gas-liquid ratio is chosen at 9-1, which results in a high absorption efficiency. The tower interior utilizes a reasonable heavy-duty two-stage spray and packing layer, as well as a spray cross bridge, significantly enhancing the purification efficiency.
The purification tower is suitable for treating acidic mist waste gases from acid pickling corrosion in industries such as steel, chemicals, machinery, electronics, instruments, electroplating, and is also applicable to the treatment of lead and mercury-containing waste gases.
Purification towers, primarily made of glass fiber reinforced plastics and plastics, offer advantages such as resistance to acids and alkalis, flame retardancy, and strong environmental adaptability. They are not limited by climate changes, making them suitable for use in both the hot south and the cold north.
The acid mist purification tower primarily treats harmful gases such as acid mist (H2SO4), hydrogen chloride (HCl), hydrogen fluoride (HF), chromic acid mist (CrO3), hydrogen cyanide (HCN), hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), alkaline steam, and other water-soluble gases. Sodium hydroxide is used as the absorption and neutralization solution, with a concentration of 2-6%, and the purification efficiency is over 95%.
