Sintered common bricks are suitable for structural maintenance in buildings, used for constructing columns, arches, chimneys, kiln bodies, channels, and foundations, etc. They can be paired with insulating materials such as lightweight aggregate concrete, aerated concrete, and rock wool to form lightweight walls with bricks on both sides and lightweight fillings in between. Appropriate steel bars or steel mesh can be embedded within the masonry to create reinforced masonry structures, which can replace reinforced concrete columns and beams.
