


Utilizing a roller-link cam-type flip gate, combined with the center of gravity configuration of the same model flip gate, the previous concrete panel material has been replaced with steel structural material, with the steel plate bottom using concrete weighting. The advantages are as follows:
High overall structural strength and long service life.
Due to the fact that steel gates are primarily welded from materials such as steel plates and I-beams, they are more robust, reliable, and stable, enhancing their overall load-bearing capacity. Furthermore, with anti-corrosion and anti-rust treatments, steel gates have an extended service life.
b. No restrictions on external dimensions.
Due to the operating mode of the reinforced concrete flip gate being flipping, and the limitations imposed by various material specifications and the inherent characteristics of concrete products during production, it is not suitable for being made too tall or too long. In contrast, steel structure flip gates, being welded from metal materials, possess the inherent characteristics of metals, and are not restricted in terms of appearance or specifications.
c. Excellent waterstop sealing effect.
The concrete-steel plate gates are assembled from a single precast concrete panel, with secondary grouting in the gaps between panels. Due to the vibrations and impacts generated during the operation of the flip gate, leakage may occur at the gaps in the gate panels. In contrast, the steel structure flip gate panels are welded from steel plates, featuring a seamless leaf seal, thus providing better water-stopping performance than the concrete-steel plate gates.
d. Gate replacement/maintenance is convenient and quick.
If gates are deformed or damaged, they can be directly corrected or the deformed or damaged parts can be cut out, and then simply welded with new materials. Repairs and replacements can be done easily.
e. High aesthetic value
The gate is overall grand and smooth. After the dam surface flows, it forms a waterfall, adding a beautiful scenery. The gate surface is treated for corrosion resistance, and the appropriate color for the gate surface can be selected based on the local environment, achieving a harmonious beauty with the natural landscape.
