A worm screw lifting jack is a compact transmission mechanism with a high transmission ratio and, under certain conditions, possesses self-locking functionality. It is easy to install, with a reasonable layout, and is gaining wider application. It is a multi-stage reducer that achieves extremely low output speeds by adding an inclined gear reducer to the input end of a worm gear reducer, offering higher power than a single-stage worm lifting jack, with less vibration and noise, as well as lower energy consumption.

Features of screw jack:
1The ball screw and nut feature a threaded groove that is filled with ball bearings.
2As the lead screw or nut rotates, the ball bearings roll along the thread groove, generating rolling friction between the screw and nut during relative motion. To prevent the ball bearings from rolling out of the groove, return guide devices are installed at both ends of the nut's helical slots.
3They form a circulating loop with the threaded raceways, allowing the balls to circulate within the nut raceways.
The transmission type is based on the combination of relative motion between the screw and nut. The basic transmission types of screw jack are two in number.
(1)Nut fixing, screw rotation and movement; this transmission method, due to the nut's inherent support function, eliminates additional axial movement that may be caused by screw shaft bearings, resulting in a simpler structure and higher transmission accuracy. However, its axial dimension should not be too long, as it would reduce rigidity. Therefore, it is only suitable for applications with shorter travel distances.
(2)The screw shaft rotates, and the nut moves. This type of transmission requires limiting the nut's rotation, thus necessitating a guiding device. Its features include a compact structure, good rigidity of the screw shaft, and suitability for applications with a large working stroke.
