Pennisetum advena, a grass from the Poales order, Poaceae family, and Andropogon genus, is a perennial warm-season herb. It can reach heights of 30-90 cm and widths of 60-90 cm. The top is arched with slender green leaves. It bears misty pink flower spikes, flowering from September to November. When planted in large areas, it creates a spectacular view of a pink misty sea. The scenery can last from September to the middle of November, offering excellent viewing.
