The stone笼mesh is mechanically woven from high corrosion-resistant, ductile low-carbon steel wire or wire coated with PVC, forming the box-like structure known as stone笼box. The diameter of the low-carbon steel wire used complies with ASTM and EN standards and varies according to engineering design requirements, typically ranging from 2.0 to 4.0mm. The tensile strength of the stone笼wire is not less than 38kg/m², the weight of the metallic coating is generally above 245g/m², and the diameter of the edge line of the stone笼sheet is usually greater than the wire diameter. The length of the double twisted portion must not be less than 50mm, ensuring that the metallic and PVC coatings on the twisted wire are not damaged.
Stone笼Woven Technique: Double twisted braiding, five twist weaving, three twist weaving; Stone笼Welding Prevention Treatment: Galvanized wire, plastic coating; Stone笼Welding Assembly Structure: Assembled in a modular way, with lids, side panels, end panels, and bottom panels produced and assembled into a cage, all parts wrapped with helical wires, with all edges of the cage reinforced with thicker wires. Stone笼Welding Packaging and Transportation: Transported in the form of folded and compressed semi-finished products, which saves space, reduces shipping costs, and facilitates transportation. Stone笼Welding Applications: Used for slope support, foundation pit support, rock face meshing and shotcreting on mountainsides, slope vegetation (greening), railway and highway isolation barriers, it can also be made into box-like structures and mesh pads for erosion protection of rivers, embankments, and sea dikes, as well as for reservoir and river weir netting. The severe disaster of rivers is the erosion of riverbanks by water flow, causing flooding and resulting in massive losses of life, property, and soil erosion. Therefore, the application of this mesh structure is one of the excellent solutions to the aforementioned problems, providing a protective barrier for riverbeds and riverbanks.
