Copper aluminum welding strip for drug core
Specification: 1.6/2.0/2.4mm thick, each 50cm long
Low temperature aluminum flux cored welding wire can weld almost all white metals, including aluminum, aluminum alloys, aluminum magnesium alloys, and dissimilar welding between the above metals. It can even repair white metals that have been severely corroded or contaminated with oil, and even aluminum alloys that are considered irreparable. Suitable for junior welding operators, only a small heating device is needed for welding. The strength of the welded joint after welding is generally higher than that of the base material itself. Understanding gas welding operation is sufficient.
Instructions for using low-temperature aluminum welding wire
Step 1: Use physical cleaning to polish the surface.
Step 2: Heat the surface of the base metal at the welding point until the temperature reaches the working temperature of the welding wire, which is 380 ℃ -400 ℃. This can form a weld seam by melting the welding wire through the heat conduction of the base metal. Do not use flames to burn the welding wire. Only when the surface temperature of the base metal is sufficient, can the welding wire flow and penetrate well into the metal capillary.
Three steps:
When repairing relatively thin aluminum, simply heat the aluminum base material to the appropriate working temperature, and then use welding wire to rub and melt back and forth to form a weld seam. Only by brushing the molten welding wire with a metal brush can the weld seam be formed.
Four steps:
Small pieces are welded with propane gas, while large pieces are heated and welded with industrial gas or induction heating devices, and naturally cooled after welding
Notes:
The thicker the piece, the more difficult it is to heat, so it is crucial to use a reasonable heat source, as long as the surface temperature of the base material reaches that of the welding wire
Working temperature, welding can be carried out. When using oxyacetylene welding, neutral flame welding should be used, but do not directly use flame welding wire
Suitable heat source: can be used for many types of heat sources, such as propane, oxyacetylene, etc.
Storage: Keep in a ventilated and dry place for long-term storage
Pay attention to details during operation
1. The surface of the base material must be cleaned thoroughly. Clean and weld immediately
2. The temperature of the base material must reach 400 ℃, including during the welding process, and the temperature of the base material must also be maintained at 400 ℃, and the temperature can be high or low.
3. It is forbidden to deliberately burn welding wire with flames. After the base material temperature reaches 400 ℃, the welding wire will naturally melt through the heat conduction of the base material.
