Common Faults of IC Card Electricity Meters

1 Device Not Displaying

The digital tube displays nothing, or does not show the user information to be queried.

1.1 Reason

1.1.1 Fuse blown.

1.1.2 Power transformer failure on the control panel.

1.3 The IC card is too dirty or inserted upside down. Clean the IC card and insert it again. If the issue persists after trying the above methods, you will need to open the back cover of the integrated circuit controller, insert the management card, press the reset button to clear it, and then re-enter the relevant information for the IC card.

The device indicates electrical energy, but there is no output power.

2.1 Reason

2.1.1 The DZ-48 coil of the device was destroyed.

2.1.2 Terminal block wiring loose.

2.2 Fault Exclusion

2.2.1 Inspect the DZ-48 coil of the device for burnout; if burned, repair or replace it as necessary.

Secure the terminal block screws with a screwdriver to ensure proper wiring connections.

The device indicates that the electrical energy is zero but does not trip the circuit breaker.

3.1 Reason

3.1.1 The DZ-48 coil of the device has been burnt out or the neutral wire has been interrupted, causing the circuit breaker to fail to trip when it should.

3.1.2 Terminal block wiring loose.

3.2 Fault Exclusion

3.2.1 Inspect the DZ-48 coil of the device for any burnout or neutral line disconnection. If there is burnout or the neutral line is disconnected, replace or reconnect it accordingly.

Secure the terminal block screws for proper wiring.

4 Power readings do not match the computer display readings.

4.1 Reason

4.1.1 The meter constant for the electricity meter does not match the IC card.

4.1.2 The sensor head of the photosensitive sensor is not properly positioned relative to the dial.

4.1.3 The aluminum disk of the electric meter is relatively dirty, causing the sensor to misread and mis-transmit.

4.2 Fault Exclusion

4.2.1 Corrected IC card constants to match the meter constants of the electric energy meter.

4.2.2 Open the cover, adjust the position of the sensor head of the photosensitive sensor with the dial, so that the rotation of the electrical energy meter is consistent with the photosensitive pulse.

4.2.3 Wipe or clean the dial to remove any dirt or stains, ensuring the sensor can read and conduct properly.
