I. Usage
The RH-6018 Melt Flow Rate Instrument is designed to measure the melt flow rate of various high polymers in their粘flow state. It determines the mass or volume of melt passing through a standard die every 10 minutes under specific temperatures and loads, expressed as MFR (Melt Flow Rate) or MVR (Melt Volume Rate). It is suitable for testing engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, polysulfone, fluoro plastics, nylon, with higher melting temperatures, as well as plastics with lower melting temperatures like polyethylene, polybutylene, polypropylene, ABS resin, and polyformaldehyde resin. It is widely used in the plastic production, plastic products, petrochemical industries, and relevant educational institutions, research units, and inspection and quarantine departments. It conforms to the requirements of GB/T 3682 "Determination of Melt Mass Flow Rate and Melt Volume Flow Rate of Thermoplastic Plastics" and ISO 1133 standards. Test results are printed using a miniature printer.

4. Operating Principle
Melt flow rate refers to the weight or volume of molten material passing through a standard die every 10 minutes at a specific temperature and load for thermoplastic materials, represented by MFR. This value indicates the rheological properties of thermoplastic materials in the molten state.
