Cable Recycling Methods and Introduction:
Section 1: Mechanical Crushing and Separation Method
The mechanical crushing method primarily consists of two units: crushing and sorting. Worn-out cables are broken down into particles of a certain size by the crushing unit, and then the sorting unit separates copper from plastic, resulting in pure copper and plastic.
Waste cables are conveyed onto a feeding belt and sent to a primary crushing machine (triangle blade crusher). The primary crushed products are separated by magnetic separation to a separator screen, where larger particles are sent to copper rice crusher 1 and smaller ones to copper rice crusher 2. The crushed materials are then spirally conveyed to a vibrating sieve, with a blower at the bottom of the sieve.
Material is separated into four components by wind vibration: copper beads and plastic are collected separately, while the uncrushed particles and mixed copper beads with plastic are returned to their respective stages for recycling crushing and separation.

剥线法: Wire stripping method
This method is widely used in factories for dismantling cables with large diameters. The working principle of the automatic stripping machine is as shown in the diagram below, where the right roller stepper motor drives the upper and lower right rollers to move the clamped cable left and right; the blade stepper motor drives the upper and lower blades to move in opposite directions, achieving the functions of stripping and cutting the cable by controlling the displacement between the upper and lower blades.
The left roller stepper motor drives the upper and lower left rollers to move the clamped workpiece line left and right; the twisting roller stepper motor drives the upper and lower left rollers to move forward and backward in the opposite direction, achieving the twisting function. The twisting roller and the left roller refer to the same roller physically.
This method is effective for the disassembly of cables with large diameters. However, due to its heavy reliance on manual labor, it has low production efficiency for cables with medium to small diameters, poor automation, and limited cable type sorting capabilities.

Section 3: Incineration Method
Incineration typically utilizes the flammability of the plastic in wires and cables to recover the metal by burning. This is an early and primitive method of metal recovery, now considered obsolete!
The cable recycling process involves using specific techniques to separate the conductor from the sheath, followed by sorting technology to isolate the conductor and sheath, resulting in purer metals and plastics, thereby achieving resource utilization.
