1. Storage tanks for flammable gases and liquids must be equipped with necessary firefighting equipment. Smoking inside the tanks, using open flames for lighting or heating, and bringing ignition sources into the tank area are strictly prohibited.

2. Tanks storing flammable, explosive, toxic, corrosive, and other hazardous materials must strictly adhere to the relevant regulations for hazardous material management.

Before tank inspection and repair, the power supply to electrical equipment related to the tank must be disconnected, and equipment handover procedures must be completed.

4. After the internal medium of the storage tank has been completely drained, the inlets and outlets should be closed or blind plates should be installed to disconnect the connected pipelines and equipment, with clear disconnection signs in place. 5. For storage tanks containing flammable, corrosive, toxic, or asphyxiating media, they must undergo processes such as displacement, neutralization, disinfection, and cleaning, and be analyzed and inspected after treatment. The analysis results should meet the specifications and standards of relevant regulations. It is strictly prohibited to use air to displace flammable media.

6. A permit for tank entry must be obtained. If the operation is interrupted for a prolonged period due to unforeseen circumstances, a new tank entry permit must be applied for.

Seven, a sample must be taken and analyzed 30 minutes prior to entering the tank, with the oxygen content ranging between 18-23% (by volume).

8. When entering the tank for cleaning, it is mandatory to wear personal protective equipment if there are toxic and corrosive residues present.

9. Scaffoldings and lifting devices to be assembled must be sturdy and reliable. It is strictly prohibited to throw materials or tools inside or outside during operations to ensure safe work practices.

10. The lighting within the container should utilize explosion-proof lamps with a voltage not exceeding 24V.

11. A fire permit must be obtained when a fire operation is required inside the drum.

13. Upon completion, the inspection personnel and supervisors jointly inspect both inside and outside the tank. Upon confirmation of no issues, the supervisor signs the tank operation certificate inside, after which the manholes can be sealed.

After pressure testing, water must be drained while connecting to the atmosphere to prevent a vacuum from forming.
