Drip irrigation equipment is a lifesaver for drought-resistant crops.

Despite consecutive years of drought, Yunnan Fennan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd.'s pitaya plantation has remained largely unaffected, thanks to the introduction of drip irrigation equipment from abroad, which has significantly saved agricultural water during the dry season.
The ground of the base is interconnected with black small plastic pipes, extending all the way to the drip irrigation equipment in the workshop at the top of the mountain. Yu Ludong, General Manager of the Yuanjiang Branch of Yunnan Fengnan Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd., explained that this drip irrigation system was imported from Israel. It is regulated by data-sensing color, reflecting the moisture level in the soil. There is no need for manual testing; it can automatically replenish water when the moisture reaches a certain level.
This system automatically senses soil conditions, and when soil moisture is insufficient, water is automatically released, flowing through black pipes connected to the fields to the orchard, dripping beneath each fruit tree, ensuring not a drop is wasted. Not only does it conserve water, but it also significantly reduces agricultural input costs. Normally, one person can water up to three or five acres a day using plastic pipes, but with this drip irrigation system, one can water up to two or three hundred acres, saving a substantial amount of labor costs.
