Micro-fine copper-coated steel fiber

Copper-plated microfilament steel fiber is a high-tech concrete composite material, combining DSP with fiber-reinforced materials. Depending on its composition and heat treatment, this concrete can achieve compressive strengths ranging from 200MPa to 800MPa; tensile strengths from 20MPa to 50MPa; elastic moduli between 40GPa and 60GPa; and fracture toughness as high as 40,000J/m2, which is 250 times that of regular concrete and comparable to aluminum. Its chloride ion permeability is 1/25 of high-strength concrete, demonstrating strong impermeability. After 300 rapid freeze-thaw cycles, the sample remains undamaged, indicating high durability factors. The bending strength-to-self-weight ratio of pre-stressed active powder concrete beams is close to that of steel beams. The application of RPC in engineering structures addresses the shortcomings of current high-strength and high-performance concrete, such as insufficient tensile strength, high brittleness, and poor volume stability. Additionally, it resolves issues related to steel structures, including high investment costs, poor fire resistance, and susceptibility to corrosion.
