EVA waterproof sheeting is a type of waterproof material made from high polymer resins, which can prevent both liquid leakage and gas volatilization. It is widely used in construction, transportation, subway, tunnel, and engineering projects.

EVA waterproof sheets, also known as geomembranes, are typically referred to as waterproof boards when they are ≥0.8mm thick, and as geomembranes when they are <0.8mm. They are a type of waterproofing material made from high molecular polymer raw materials, and are categorized into homogeneous waterproof boards and composite waterproof boards.

EVA waterproof boards primarily prevent liquid leakage and gas evaporation. In rock engineering, their main functions are to prevent seepage and isolate, while also reinforcing and protecting. They are mainly used in the waterproofing of projects such as earthen dams, rockfill dams, masonry dams, concrete dams, tailings dams, wastewater reservoir dams, canals, liquid storage pools, and others. They also serve as waterproof lining for subways, basements, and tunnels, as well as in the waterproofing of highway and railway foundations. Additionally, they are used in conjunction with geotextiles like high-strength woven geotextiles, bentonite waterproof membranes, and other geomaterials in sanitary landfill sites.
