Geotextile Features:
Product Introduction:
The characteristics of needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles are that they are made from raw materials such as polypropylene and polypropylene/polyester staple fibers, composed of at least two sets of parallel yarns (or filaments), one set running lengthwise (along the direction of fabric movement) as the warp, and the other set laid horizontally as the weft. Different weaving equipment and processes are used to interlace the warp and weft to form a fabric, which can be woven into different thicknesses and densities according to different application ranges. Generally, woven geotextiles are relatively thin and have quite strong tensile strength in both the warp and weft directions (warp greater than weft), with excellent stability.
Product Performance:
1. Reinforcement Effect: Used in rock engineering such as highways, railways, airports, stone dams, slope protection embankments, retaining walls, and embankments, to disperse soil stress, increase soil modulus, restrict soil slip, and enhance stability.
2. Protective Function: Prevents erosion from wind, waves, tides, and rain, and is used for bank, slope, and foundation protection, as well as to prevent soil and water loss.
3. Filtration Effect: Used as a filter layer in embankments, dams, rivers, coastal stone revetments, slopes, and retaining walls, to prevent sand and soil particles from passing through while allowing water or air to flow freely.
