What is a corporate standard filing?
The enterprise standard filing refers to the activity where, after a standard is released, the department or unit responsible for formulating the standard submits the text of the standard and relevant materials to the administrative authority for standardization and other relevant administrative authorities for record-keeping and reference.
The Role of Enterprise Standard Filing
The primary functions of a corporate standard filing include the following three points:
1. Gain insights into the standard-setting process, particularly to verify if the products manufactured by the company have been standardized. If the products produced by the company lack both national and industry standards, and no in-house standards have been established, supervision and assistance can be provided to help the company promptly file for in-house standard registration.
2. Easily identify whether industry, local, or corporate standards comply with mandatory standards. If any violations are found, they can be promptly corrected or the relevant standards suspended.
3. In the case of product standards for enterprises, when disputes arise between suppliers and buyers due to product trade, the standardization administrative authority can mediate and inspect based on the enterprise product standards specified in the contract. This enterprise standard should be a registered one, not a standard arbitrarily chosen by the enterprise.

There are several types of company standard filings:
1. Products manufactured by the company lack national, industry, or local standards; the company has established its own product standards.
2. Strictly formulated corporate product standards above national, industry, or local standards to enhance product quality and technological advancement.
