What is the SRRC certification?
SRRC stands for State Radio Regulation Committee, also known as the National Radio Regulatory Committee. It was established following the merger of the National Radio Monitoring Center and the National Radio Spectrum Management Center in 1998, which was then unified into the National Radio Monitoring Center of China.
1999 ChinaFrequencies for different types of radio transmitting equipment are designated specifically, and not all frequencies are legally usable in China. In other words, radio transmitting equipment sold or used in China is subject to different frequency regulations. Additionally, applicants must be aware of the specified scope for certain radio transmitting equipment, as they must not only apply for the "Radio Type Approval Certificate" but also obtain approval for the Chinese Compulsory Certification (CCC) and/or the Network Access License (MII).
The SRRC certification (also known as SRMC certification) can be understood as the Radio Model Approval certification.
SRRC Certification Mark
No special markings; merely a set of model approval codes (CMIIT ID:XXXXXXXXXX)
The necessity of SRRC certification
To enhance the management of imported and domestically produced radio transmission equipment, all radio transmission equipment exported to the People's Republic of China, or manufactured within its borders (including trial production), must obtain a "Model Approval Certificate for Radio Transmission Equipment" issued by the State Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) after the model's transmission characteristics are approved. The model approval code (CMIIT ID) must be marked on the label of the manufactured equipment before it can be sold. In simpler terms, only radio transmission equipment with our country's model approval code can be sold and used domestically.
Current e-commerce platforms have issued SRRC certification requirements for certain products. Please note, relevant enterprises to avoid being removed from shelves due to the failure to provide SRRC certificates. Additionally, the national and local random inspections for model approval certifications will become increasingly stringent! Many companies have reported being inspected by relevant departments.

Low-power (short-distance) radio equipment, such as toy items like 27MHz and 40MHz remote-controlled planes and cars, does not require SRRC certification. However, it is still important to note that the national standards for electric toys, including those with technologies like Bluetooth and WIFI, have specific requirements.
