Fiberglass fire water tanks are water reservoirs made from fiberglass as the raw material. Fiberglass is a plastic reinforced with glass fibers and their fabrics, known for its light weight, hardness, non-conductivity, high mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance. It can be used to manufacture machine parts and the outer shells of vehicles and ships in place of steel. Glass fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) fire water tanks are available in two types: assembled FRP tanks and SMC composite tanks. They are characterized by their lightweight, rust-free, leak-proof nature, good water quality, wide application range, long service life, excellent insulation properties, attractive appearance, easy installation, and simple cleaning and maintenance. They are extensively used in hotels, restaurants, schools, industrial and mining enterprises, public institutions, residential areas, and office buildings, making them an ideal product for public utility, fire protection, and industrial water storage. Water tanks are an indispensable part of public water supply systems in industrial and mining enterprises, residential areas, and other public facilities. Currently, China primarily uses concrete and steel plate tanks, but the leakage and scaling of concrete tanks, and the rusting of steel plate tanks, greatly affect their use. According to on-site inspections by the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau, 85% of China's water tank supply systems currently fail to meet water quality standards due to algal and rust contamination. Since the 1980s, assembled FRP tanks have been widely adopted to address these issues. FRP (FRP) tanks offer advantages such as no leakage, no deformation, no pollution, long service life, easy assembly, attractive appearance, and can be customized to different tonnages according to customer needs.
