Fiberglass fire water tanks are water storage pools made from fiberglass. Fiberglass is a plastic reinforced with glass fibers and fabrics, known for its lightweight yet rigid nature, non-conductive properties, high mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance. It can be used to manufacture machine parts and the shells of vehicles and ships in place of steel. Fiber-reinforced plastics generally refer to unsaturated polyester, epoxy, and phenolic resin matrices reinforced with glass fibers. Plastics reinforced with glass fibers or their products are called glass fiber-reinforced plastics, or simply fiberglass. Due to the different types of resins used, there are polyester fiberglass, epoxy fiberglass, and phenolic fiberglass. Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) Fire Water Tank Features: Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (FRP) fire water tanks are available in two types: assembled FRP tanks and SMC modular tanks. Known for their lightweight, non-corrosive, leak-proof design, good water quality, wide application, long service life, excellent thermal insulation, attractive appearance, easy installation, and simple cleaning and maintenance, they are extensively used in hotels, restaurants, schools, industrial and mining enterprises, public institutions, residential areas, and office buildings. They are ideal storage solutions for public, fire, and industrial water use. Pools are an indispensable part of public water supply systems in industrial and civil residential areas. Currently, China primarily uses concrete and steel plate tanks, but issues like leakage and scaling in concrete tanks, and corrosion in steel plate tanks, significantly affect their usage. According to on-site inspections by the Beijing Environmental Protection Bureau, 85% of China's water storage systems currently fail to meet water quality standards due to algal and corrosion contamination. Since the 1980s, assembled FRP tanks have been widely adopted to address these issues. FRP tanks offer advantages such as leak-proof, non-deforming, non-polluting, long service life, easy assembly, and attractive appearance, and can be customized into different tonnage capacities according to customer needs.
