The field of view of a flame detector is determined by the position of the probe. To ensure a good field of view, one must select an appropriate probe position, which allows the flame detector to function and detect flames more effectively. The selection of the probe position primarily involves two factors: the field of view must be suitable, and the probe must be easy to install and maintain. How can the probe's position ensure an adequate field of view?

Firstly, the probe's field of view should be as full as possible with the target flame; secondly, the target flame within the probe's field of view should be relatively stable, so adjusting the air volume and combustion should not cause the target flame to脱离 the field of view; further, any objects within the field of view that obstruct detection, such as furnace walls, water pipes, and reinforcing plates, should be modified, but all modifications should aim to minimize their impact on the air volume; the field of view should also be avoided crossing with other flames.

Flame Detector Maintenance and Care in Daily Use: Flame detection systems, which include flame detection probes and processors, are essential safety alarm devices for many large-scale coal, oil, and gas-fired boilers and other equipment. They are increasingly becoming a critical component in the flame tube safety monitoring system of boilers.

Firstly, when using the flame detector, we must be aware of its operational limits. Generally, the flame detector should not be in use for more than two minutes. If it's been on for over two minutes, it's advisable to shut it down and let it rest for a while before restarting it for operation.

Next, after each use of the flame detector, it is essential to wipe and clean the detector's probe with a dedicated soft cloth and cleaning solution to ensure there is no black soot or other debris on the probe, thereby maintaining the detector's sensitivity to flame temperature.

When not in use, flame detectors should be handled with care and not placed carelessly on the ground or on tables. Instead, they should be stored in a padded box to effectively protect all parts of the flame detector from damage, and kept in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area.
