I. Corrosion Prevention Principle

Material Characteristics: Glass fiber offers high strength (carbon fiber, aramid fiber, basalt fiber, polyphenylene sulfide fiber, ultra-high strength high modulus polyethylene fiber, etc. can be used in special environments), while resins (such as nano-polymer corrosion-resistant materials, epoxy resin, vinyl resin, phenolic resin, etc.) form a dense protective film, blocking the penetration of various corrosive media. The combination of both provides impact resistance, acid and alkali resistance, as well as electrochemical corrosion resistance. Structural Advantages: The surface is smooth and sealed, preventing water and chemical substances from penetrating; the even distribution of glass fiber enhances the overall impermeability.

Surface Treatment: Concrete must be dealkalized and repaired; metallic substrates need to be sandblasted to achieve a Sa2.5 roughness level; optimal humidity is ≤80%, with temperature between 5-25℃. Multi-layer Construction: Three-coat-five-layer technique: Primer → Laying fabric → Resin coating → Repeat for three layers of fabric → Topcoat, five layers of resin; each layer must be compacted and overlap width should be 50mm; Five-coat-seven-layer technique: Used for environments with severe corrosion, such as strong acids and alkalis, where increased fabric and resin thickness is required. Curing and Coating: Naturally cured for 24-48 hours; environmental control is crucial; if acid-resistant tiles are to be applied later, quartz sand should be sprinkled after the topcoat to enhance wear resistance and anti-slip adhesion.
