A loss-in-weight feeder is an automatic weighing device that achieves high-precision continuous batching through static weighing. It reliably, accurately, and stably feeds powdery, granular, and flake-like dry bulk materials, reducing material loss and waste while improving the consistency of the mixture.
Principle of Weight Loss
The loss-in-weight scale weighs by using the measuring hopper and the entire feeding mechanism as the weighing body. As materials exit the loss-in-weight scale, the control system rapidly and frequently collects the weight signals of the weighing body to obtain the flow rate per unit time. The material reduced in the internal weighing hopper is then filtered and optimized by TRUSTAR, resulting in the actual flow rate of the loss-in-weight scale. Simultaneously, the control system compares this feeding speed with the pre-set target speed and calculates the comparison result. This result is fed back to the feeding mechanism of the loss-in-weight scale, automatically adjusting the feeding speed to form a closed-loop control. This ensures that the actual flow rate approaches the target flow rate indefinitely, meeting the control requirements.
Work Process
a Firstly, the customer's raw material supply warehouse adds material to the hopper of the weight loss scale. The system automatically stops the feeding process once it detects that the material has been added to the set position.
b After feeding is complete, the loss-in-weight scale begins to operate. During operation, the weighing sensor collects real-time flow data and sends it to the weighing controller for processing. This data is used for both screen display and data communication, and also controls the motor's speed to achieve real-time flow adjustment.
c During the operation of the loss-in-weight scale, the material in the scale's hopper gradually decreases. When the material in the hopper of the loss-in-weight scale drops to the set feeding range, the Siemens output module controls the feeding device to start feeding. At the same time, the loss-in-weight scale operates in volume mode to ensure a stable and accurate flow.
Through the reciprocating movement of the above stages, the weightless scale products can continuously and accurately feed and discharge materials.
