Outdoor Expanding Fire Retardant Coating for Steel Structures

This fire-resistant coating material for steel structures is a synthetic product made from modified inorganic high-temperature binder, with expansion aids and solvents. It is primarily suitable for load-bearing steel structures in various buildings such as high-rise buildings, petrochemicals, power, metallurgy, machinery, light and textile industries, transportation, and warehouses. It provides thermal insulation protection, ensuring that the steel structure's strength does not sharply decline under the high temperatures of a fire, thus preventing building collapse. The product has passed quality inspections by the National Fire-resistant Building Materials Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, meeting the requirements of National Standard GB14907-2018. It is an ideal product with excellent fire resistance and mechanical properties. The product includes models: GT-WRP-Fp1.50-YXLB-2, GT-WRP-Fp1.50-YXLB-8, and GT-WRP-Fp2.00-YXLB-8.

Construction Application:

This product is suitable for civil building steel structures, particularly providing superior fire protection for steel structures and steel grid frameworks, and also offers ideal corrosion resistance. In most cases, it can be applied directly without the need for anti-rust paint.

Usage Instructions

Prior to construction, the steel structure should be cleaned and treated for rust prevention, and any dust and oil on its surface should be removed.

Before applying paint, it should be thoroughly mixed. If too thick, add an appropriate amount of thinner to dilute.

Application at temperatures above 0°C is recommended. Both hand brushing and mechanical spraying are acceptable. The ideal thickness per coat should not exceed 1.5mm. Proceed to the next coat only after the paint surface has dried, continuing until the specified thickness is achieved.

Storage and Transportation:

This product is packaged in metal drums.

Storage and transportation of this product are the same as those for ordinary paint; ensure sealing.
