It can also exchange with other heavy metal cations such as Ca, Mg, Cs, K, and Na in water to reduce total water hardness. Additionally, it boasts strong mechanical strength, a large specific surface area, and strong internal electrostatic forces, enabling your water quality to meet discharge and drinking water standards. Currently, the natural water purification zeolite is the clinoptilolite.

In addition, zeolite boasts unique properties such as adsorption, catalytic, and ion exchange capabilities, ion selectivity, acid resistance, thermal stability, compositional diversity, and high biological activity. The cations within the zeolite's pores and channels also exhibit strong selective ion exchange properties. It can remove heavy metal ions harmful to animals, releasing beneficial metal ions. It can remove up to 95% of ammonia nitrogen from water, purify water quality, and alleviate water transfer phenomena.


Caution for using zeolite:


1. Select the appropriate specification of zeolite powder for its intended use. For water quality improvement, use a mesh size of 180 to 200.


2. High-quality zeolite powder, with a natural zeolite content of 50% or more.


3. The ammonia adsorption value is an important quality indicator for zeolite powder. Qualified zeolite powder generally has an ammonia adsorption value greater than 100 mg equivalent/100g.


Apply 25-50 kg of zeolite powder per acre per meter of water depth, which can remove 95% of ammonia nitrogen in the water, purify water quality, increase dissolved oxygen, and simultaneously raise the total alkalinity of the water body, stabilizing water quality.
