Description of Nylon Parts: Outstanding wear resistance, with a coefficient of friction typically ranging from 0.1 to 0.3, making it one-fourth as abrasive as phenolic plastic fabric and one-third as abrasive as Babbit alloy, it is an excellent self-lubricating material with good mechanical properties. Nylon parts are hard, with high tensile, bending, and impact strength, as well as high elongation. Their compressive strength is comparable to metals, and their fatigue strength is on par with cast iron and aluminum alloys. They offer stable chemical resistance, unaffected by chemicals such as weak alkalis, esters, hydrocarbons, and oils. They are lightweight, have good toughness, strong wear resistance, oil resistance, and vibration resistance, and are suitable for manufacturing wear-resistant parts, transmission structures, household appliance components, automotive parts, and protective mechanical parts, as well as electrical insulation components for heavy machinery. Examples include turbines, gears, bearings, impellers, blades, screws, nuts, spindles, sleeve connectors, and high-pressure washers, seals, nuts, bolts, reeds, sleeves, and shaft connectors.
