Construction Process and Issues of U-Channel Forming Machine

(1) The installation of U-shaped channels typically begins from the downstream, ensuring the joints face upstream. Each U-shaped channel should be tightly adhered to the bedding layer to distribute the load evenly. All U-shaped channels should be laid according to the correct axis and gradient. When the gradient is steep, steps like drop structures and energy dissipating wells can be used for transition.

Ensure the inner wall is level and smooth during installation. As far as possible, the axis should be as straight as possible.

(3) Adjacent U-shaped grooves should be left with a width of 1.5 to 2.0 cm for joint filling. The filling should be smooth, full, dense, and secure to prevent leaks.

When using socket joints for U-shaped channels, the joints should be tightly filled with cement mortar to ensure stability and prevent leakage.

(1) The U-shaped channel forming mechanism is cleaned with cement at the joint before forming, coated with a layer of cement slurry, and the joints are constructed using 1:2.5 expanded cement mortar.

(2) Channel embankment soil requirements: The particles from the U-shaped channel molding machine should not exceed 20cm in size, with uniform density and flatness.

(3) According to the design specifications, a gantry pile is set every 30 meters, with the shape of the constructed channel as the standard. The channel style is the same as the constructed U-shaped panel, and the channel is meticulously finished.

(4) During the lining process, lay 75# cement mortar at a thickness of 3-4 cm at the bottom of the board, with a width of no less than 15 cm, and joints in both directions at a width of 2.0-2.5 cm.
