Traditional methods of waste plastic disposal include landfilling and incineration. Direct incineration of waste plastics can also pollute the atmosphere with carbon dioxide, and the bottom ash from the incineration process further concentrates toxic and harmful substances, which still require landfilling or further无害 treatment. Therefore, recycling and reusing waste plastics after sorting offers more advantages. Different types of plastics are collected, categorized, and granulated for use as recycled plastics, or they can be thermally depolymerized into monomers to participate in re-polymerization, thus achieving resource recycling.
