Features of PE conduit:

(1) Reliable Connection: The polyethylene pipeline system is connected using electric heat fusion, with the joint strength exceeding that of the pipeline itself.

(3) Excellent resistance to stress cracking: PE pipes feature low notch sensitivity, high shear strength, and excellent scratch resistance, with particularly outstanding performance in resistance to environmental stress cracking.

(4) Excellent Chemical Resistance: PE pipes can withstand corrosion from various chemical media, and the chemicals present in the soil will not cause any degradation to the pipeline. Polyethylene is an electrical insulator, thus preventing rotting, rusting, or electrochemical corrosion; in addition, it does not promote the growth of algae, bacteria, or fungi.

(5) Aging Resistant, Long Service Life: Polyethylene pipes containing 2% to 2.5% uniformly distributed carbon black are theoretically capable of being stored or used outdoors for 50 years without being damaged by ultraviolet radiation.

(6) Excellent Abrasion Resistance: Comparative tests between PE pipes and steel pipes show that the abrasion resistance of PE pipes is four times that of steel pipes. In the slurry transportation field, compared to steel pipes, PE pipes offer superior abrasion resistance, resulting in a longer service life and better cost-effectiveness.

(7) Excellent Flexibility: The flexibility of PE pipes allows for easy bending, enabling engineers to navigate around obstacles by altering the pipe's direction. In many cases, this flexibility can reduce the need for fittings and lower installation costs.

(8) Low Flow Resistance: PE pipes feature a smooth inner surface with a Manning coefficient of 0.009. The smoothness and non-adhesive properties ensure PE pipes have higher conveying capacity than traditional piping materials, while also reducing pressure loss in the pipeline and water conveyance energy consumption.

(9) Easy to Handle: PE pipes are lighter than concrete pipes, galvanized pipes, and steel pipes, making them easy to transport and install. This results in lower labor and equipment requirements, significantly reducing the installation costs of the project.

(10) Various Innovative Construction Methods: PE pipes offer a range of construction techniques, including traditional excavation methods, as well as innovative non-excavation methods such as jacking, directional drilling, lining, and pipe bursting.
