Only by increasing equipment investment and achieving the highest level of automation possible can production volume be increased, reaching mass production, and escaping the drawbacks of the labor-intensive industry.

Standard modular configurations based on customer orders and needs can suffice, thus transforming the nature of shelving from a project-based to a product-oriented direction.
