Underwater Leak Sealing

1. After the preliminary cleaning, prioritize the treatment of key areas such as the positive and negative corners, expansion joints, and construction joints. Especially for hard-to-paint areas like drainage holes, reinforce the treatment by applying 2-3 coats of waterproof base coating.

2. Ensure the distinction between waterproof membranes, waterproof coatings, base coatings, and adhesive membranes. Apply the base coating. To enhance the bonding between the waterproof membrane and the base, apply the base coating repeatedly, ensuring even coverage, full penetration into the concrete base, and thus improving the bonding and shear resistance strength.

3. Waterproof coating must be mixed according to the product's instructions, in a ratio of A:B = 2:1. The amount of mixing should correspond to the actual quantity used on-site.
4. The waterproof coating should be stirred thoroughly for about 3-5 minutes until the mixed liquid of components A and B is uniformly blended.

5. Apply the well-mixed waterproof coating to the designated area, ensuring the base coat covers more than the area of the adhesive membranes. The coating should be applied within no more than 30 minutes from the end of mixing to the completion of application.

6. After the base coating is applied once, wait approximately 4-8 hours before applying the second and third coats of base coating. The thickness for each coat should be around 0.5mm, with the second and third coats being approximately 0.5mm as well. It is mandatory to wait until the first coat is completely cured before applying the second coat.

7. Wait for the secondary coating to fully cure before bonding the membranes (The waterproofing coating can be applied in multiple coats or sprayed according to the actual site conditions and thickness requirements of the project; please note that a single coating should be completed in one go).
