Performance Features:
Compaction – Sodium-based bentonite forms a high-density diaphragm under hydrostatic pressure. At a thickness of approximately 3mm, its permeability is below &×10ˉ11m/sec, equivalent to 100 times the compaction of 30cm thick clay, and exhibits strong self-water-retaining properties.
Its waterproofing performance is durable because sodium-based bentonite is an inorganic material; it does not undergo aging or corrosion even after a long time or changes in the surrounding environment.
Easy installation, short construction period – Compared to other waterproofing materials, it is relatively easy to install without the need for heating or adhesive. Simply connect and secure using bentonite powder, nails, washers, etc. No special inspection is required after installation, and it's easy to repair any waterproofing defects if found.
