Cement blanket is a soft fabric impregnated with cement that hardens into a thin, durable waterproof and fire-resistant concrete layer upon contact with water, undergoing a hydration reaction.

The cement mat is composed of a three-dimensional fiber composite structure woven from polyethylene and polypropylene monofilament.3D fiber matrix, dry concrete mixture with a special formulaConcrete Mix). The main chemical components of aluminous calcium silicate cement are Al2O3, CaO, SiO2, and Fe2O3. The canvas is lined with a polyvinyl chloride (PVC) backing, ensuring complete waterproofing for the concrete canvas. During on-site construction, no concrete mixing equipment is required; simply water the concrete canvas or immerse it in water to initiate hydration. After curing, the fibers reinforce the concrete, preventing cracking. Currently, the thickness of the cement blanket is 10mm.

II. Key Features of Cement Mat:

1) Easy to use

Cement mats are available in large rolls for bulk supply. They can also be supplied in rolls for easy manual handling and transportation, without the need for heavy lifting equipment. Concrete is pre-mixed in a scientific ratio, eliminating the need for on-site mixing and preventing overhydration issues. Cement mats can set and harden both underwater and in seawater.

2) Fast curing and shaping

Once hydration occurs upon watering,2 hours for necessary processing of the cement mat's size and shape; within 24 hours, it hardens to 80% strength. It can also be customized to meet specific user requirements, using special formulas for rapid or delayed setting.

3) Eco-friendly

Cement mat is a low-quality, low-carbon technology; in many applications, the amount of material used is less than that of conventional concrete.95%. It has a limited alkalinity content and a very low wash-off rate, thus, it has a minimal impact on the local ecosystem.
