Hydraulic lift platforms require different maintenance principles and methods in winter and summer, primarily due to the material of the lift platform and the choice of hydraulic oil.
For our hydraulic lifting platforms, we must timely change the hydraulic oil based on seasonal variations. Different hydraulic oils are used for different seasons, which is a fundamental principle for any equipment. We cannot unnecessarily increase the barriers to usage and maintenance. Summer hydraulic oil does not contain antifreeze, while winter hydraulic oil is mixed with antifreeze. This is basic knowledge in hydraulic oil usage. Depending on the location, there may be stricter requirements for the hydraulic oil and specific material requirements.
    When selecting materials, certain considerations should be taken into account. For hydraulic lifting platforms designed for cold weather conditions, it is necessary to appropriately increase the hardness of the steel and minimize the variation in expansion coefficients. This is the primary concern to be addressed before choosing to manufacture a hydraulic lifting platform. For lifting platforms used in the north, during the cold season temperatures can drop to around -30 degrees Celsius, while in the summer they can rise to around +30 degrees Celsius, resulting in a temperature difference of 60 degrees. Such drastic temperature fluctuations can lead to severe issues if the material selection is not appropriate.
It's crucial to regularly clean the hydraulic cylinders of the hydraulic lift, especially checking for oil leaks and ensuring all connecting parts are functioning properly. These aspects should not be overlooked during use, and they are common issues and considerations we frequently pay attention to when operating electric hydraulic lifts.
