    For both electroplated steel pipes and plastic-lined pipes, we might think they are quite similar, yet there are still distinctions between them. If they had no differences, and possessed identical characteristics, they could be completely interchangeable in use, rendering the need for both unnecessary. Below, let's differentiate the unique features of each.

    1. The plastic-coated steel pipe is made by lining the inner wall of the steel pipe with thermal塑性 plastics such as polyethylene (PE), heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT), and cross-linked polyethylene (PE-X) according to the requirements of the conveyed medium, thereby combining the superior properties of both steel pipes and plastic pipes.

    2. The inner and outer coated steel pipes are composite products made of steel pipes as the base material and plastic powder as the coating material. They are熔融coated with a layer of plastic on the inner surface and another layer of plastic or a corrosion-resistant material on the outer surface.

    3. Features of Plastic Coated Steel Pipe: Sanitary and non-toxic, meeting food hygiene standards; corrosion-resistant and scale-free; low thermal conductivity of the plastic lining for energy-saving insulation; luxurious appearance with strong decorative properties; easy installation, secure connections, and excellent heat resistance and aging resistance.

    4. Features of Plastic-Coated Composite Steel Pipe: It combines the strength of steel pipes with the corrosion and wear resistance, as well as the low fluid resistance of plastic pipes, making it a new type of water supply and anti-corrosion pipeline. It overcomes the shortcomings of galvanized pipes, such as easy rusting, producing yellow water, sediment accumulation leading to smaller pipe diameters, and blockages. It plays a significant role in preventing secondary pollution and improving water quality.

    By comparing the two, we've identified their differences and respective strengths. The most apparent distinction is in their appearance. Once we're aware of these differences, we can utilize them more effectively in our future use.

    Internal and External Coating Pipe Connection Methods

    First, weld flanges to both ends of the steel pipe, ensuring they are securely fastened and then coated with polyethylene. During installation, insert a sealing gasket between the two flanges of the coated composite pipe and tighten with bolts.

    To prevent the pipeline from experiencing axial movement under pressure or water hammer effects, it should be securely fastened using supports, brackets, hangers, etc. The fixation must ensure that the pipeline does not shift when subjected to oscillation and deflection under pressure.

    (3) When fixed using methods such as concrete or brick abutments, the pipeline can be砌 into the abutment. When using brackets, supports, or hangers for fixation, U-shaped or other types of pipe clamps need to be set for the pipe material or fittings. Due to the smooth outer surface of the pipe material, rubber pads should be placed between the pipe material and the pipe clamp to prevent sliding. Then, tighten the pipe clamp with screws to prevent it from moving, and finally, securely connect the pipe clamp to the abutment, support, or bracket with bolts.

    (4) We can also install according to customer drawings. If construction drawings are not available, we can send personnel to the site for measurement. We design and manufacture specialized pipeline connectors for the customer to connect with mining pipe materials or connect through quick pipe clamps to seamless steel pipes.

    Ensure that the warning lines on the pipe are facing outward during installation, creating a continuous line for safety alerts.
