Characteristics of Cement Roofing Tiles

1. Cement flat tiles – Special waterproof structure

Only vacuum forming can achieve hollowed-out structures at the bottom of the tile valley, ensuring smooth water runoff and preventing backflow. Additionally, the water-blocking effect of the elevated portion at the head of vacuum-formed tiles, along with the unique dual waterproofing structure, ensures no backflow occurs even on roofs with a slope of less than 10 degrees.

2. Cement Roofing Tiles -- Excellent thermal insulation and ultra-high strength

Due to the advanced瓦筒leak-proof system, the瓦谷bottom is coated with two cement slurry paints, eliminating the need for cement inside the瓦筒, creating an airy state with excellent insulation properties. Construction Method for Cement Flat Tiles

If design drawings are provided for roof tiles, construction shall be carried out according to the specifications.

2. Roofs with wooden structures should use tiles with a lath cross-sectional area of 20x20mm, and anti-corrosion treatment should be conducted prior to construction.

3. Concrete roof surfaces can be installed using wooden battens or cement tiles. The size of the tiles should not exceed 25×25mm. The cement mortar on the roof surface should be applied according to building codes, with smaller flatness errors resulting in better tile covering effects.

4. Some multi-form roof tiles will require cutting before installation, depending on their shape.

5. The overhang of the roof tiles should not exceed 10mm, and they should be bonded with 1:1 cement paste. However, gaps should be left vertically. The side of the tiles should be secured with safety nails.

6. The spacing of the tiles should be according to the actual back size of the tiles. It should not be too long or too short to affect the construction.

7. It is strictly prohibited for cement slurry to adhere to the surface of tiles during construction. If it does, it should be wiped off immediately to avoid affecting the decorative effect.

8. It is recommended that the roof pitch be steeper to avoid excessive flatness.

All tile nails and safety nails must be used in full, especially in typhoon-prone areas, where stainless steel wire or copper wire can also be used as alternatives.
