Selection Considerations for Submersible Mixers
For every 500 cubic meters of volume, the torque at 1KW power must exceed 60Nm, and the actual test has shown good results. Some small impellers, even at high speeds, cannot achieve this effect.
Circular pools, track-shaped pools, and annular pools can reduce power consumption by 10%, while square pools, rectangular pools, and triangular pools require an increase of 10% in power. Larger pool shapes generally result in reduced power consumption.
Power must increase by 30% for every 10% increase in medium density.
Square and rectangular pools can be designed with considerations for impeller size, spiral angle, installation position, and in/out water intake locations to achieve minimal or no blind spots.
Regarding flow rate issues, for many types of agitator pumps, it is necessary to provide original flow rate, pool cross-sectional area, length, and other relevant data, as well as the required flow rate. Our company can provide the corresponding products. This is a relatively complex process. For selection questions, please contact the supplier.
Installation Height of Submersible Mixers:
(1) The distance from the bottom of the tank with a diameter less than 1 meter to the center of the agitator is X = impeller radius + 0.7 meters.
(2) Impellers with a diameter of 1 meter or more are calculated based on a radius plus 1 meter.
(3) Installation height can be appropriately adjusted up or down based on the pool depth.
