How to Maintain a Submersible Agitator Daily

    2024-10-12

    1. Safety Precaution Measures
Before starting equipment maintenance, ensure the submersible mixer is disconnected from the power source and cannot be accidentally started. To avoid injury, be mindful of the condition of damaged and worn components to ensure the stability of the submersible mixer or its parts. Make sure it does not roll or fall, to prevent personal injury or damage to property.
    2. Inspection Periods and Items
    2.1 Inspection Cycle
Regular inspections and maintenance ensure the reliable operation of submersible mixers. The following maintenance schedule suggests when to conduct routine checks and when to perform a thorough inspection (major repair).
Maintenance schedules are divided into two groups, A and B, based on wear conditions. Group A has a wear inspection cycle and a major repair cycle.
No or minor every 8,000 working hours or once a year, every five years or once every 50,000 working hours.
B Every 4,000 working hours or once a year; every two years or every 20,000 working hours; or when indicated during inspection that it must be addressed
Note: A thorough inspection of the submersible mixer should be conducted in the repair workshop. A multimeter can be used to detect potential blockages. Pay attention to the impeller. If the impeller is severely worn and causes front-end imbalance, the motor may overheat due to blockage.
2.2 Inspection Items 2.2.1 Maintenance Inspection
The following items must be inspected, and a judgment made as necessary:
    Replace all worn components.
    Inspect all screw joints.
    Check oil level and condition.
Inspect for any liquid presence within the stator cavity.
Inspect cable entry and cable condition.
Function check of the starting device
    Check the rotation direction.
Inspect the hoisting device and guide rod (clearance distance and wear conditions).
    Inspect electrical insulation conditions;
All O-rings that have been removed for inspection.
Inspect and flush the seal and surrounding area. See "Recommended Inspections."
    2.2.2 Workshop Major Overhaul
The repair workshop requires specialized tools and should be performed by an authorized maintenance department. In addition to inspections, the major repair operations in the repair workshop should also assess whether the following items are needed:
    Replace Bearings
    Replace bearing seals.
    Oil change
The condition of the sealing rings at the cable entry; replace the watertight cable if necessary.
    Mechanical seal replacement.
    3. Recommend inspection
Recommended inspection items and procedures typically include: inspection objects and procedures.
Replace or repair worn or damaged parts on visible components of submersible mixers and installation systems. Ensure all screws, bolts, and nuts are tightened, check the condition of the lifting device/eyelets, lifting chains, and ropes, and verify that the guide rods are vertical. Replace worn parts if they hinder the normal operation of the mixer.
    Check oil level
If the seal leaks, the oil chamber will be pressurized. Cover the oil chamber with a cloth to prevent oil splashes. For details, see "Oil Filling and Oil Change."
Ensure the submersible mixer is horizontally placed and check if the oil level reaches above the centerline of the shaft. Inspect the oil condition by removing the oil drain screw; checking the oil can reveal any leaks. Tighten the filling screw to seal. Since oil and water separate, the first flowing liquid indicates a possible leak. Tap the screw until clean oil begins to flow. If the oil leakage is less than 0.1ml/h, the mechanical seal is normal. Refill the oil chamber with new oil. If the leakage exceeds 0.1ml/h, re-oil. Check the oil condition again after one week of operation. If the leakage remains above 0.1ml/h, the mechanical seal may be damaged, please replace it or contact the company.
    Liquid in the Stator Compartment
Attention! If there is a leak, the stator compartment will be pressurized. Cover the screws with a cloth to prevent oil from spilling. If liquid enters the stator compartment, tilt the equipment to allow the liquid in the stator compartment to drain out.
    · Check if the bolt is sufficiently tightened.
    · Inspect the cable entry for leaks.
    · Check for water in the oil.
In one week, inspect the stator; if liquid has渗入 the stator housing again, it could be due to:
    · Internal seal damaged! Please contact our Sales Department.
If there is leakage at the cable entry:
    · Check if the cable entry is tightly sealed and forms an effective seal.
If the cable sheath is damaged, it should be replaced promptly. Ensure the cable is not excessively bent or tightened.
Fault on Starter: Please contact the electrician.
Inspection conducted in accordance with surveillance device regulations.
    Inspection:
    · Signal and Trip
Relays, bulbs, fuses, and connectors are undamaged.
    Replace the damaged equipment.
Direction of Rotation for Submersible Mixers (With Electric Inspection)
If the impeller does not rotate in a clockwise direction when viewed from the motor side, you can swap the positions of any two of the three-phase wires on the controller.
Do not rotate in reverse to prevent the impeller of the submersible mixer from detaching, which may damage the mixer.
Always check the rotation direction after the first start-up or after each re-installation of the submersible mixer.
The stator's insulation resistance is tested using an insulation tester. The high resistance meter is set to 500V-DC. The insulation value between phase lines and any phase line to ground should be no less than 1MΩ.
    4. Oil Injection and Oil Change
The oil chamber of the submersible mixer is pre-filled with the appropriate lubricant before shipment, which should be replaced annually.
The oil chamber may be under pressure. Please cover the oil cap with a cloth to prevent oil from spilling.
